This is a little plein air piece I did in 2007, the very first year of this blog. It was up on the Santa Rosa Plateau, near our home in Murrieta, California. I remember being nestled down among these big granite boulders in the dappled shade of a warm summer day. The sycamore on the left looked like it was dancing with the small oak. No?...maybe it's just me.
