I just want to add my praise to the list. Your onion painting is fantastic!!! I did an onion painting years ago but mine was pale compared to yours. Yours is much more warm. I love simple paintings like this....Dixie

I have to say that out of all the still lifes you've posted these past several days, this one is my favorite.

The composition is wonderful and your use of browns and tans is as usual....done with expertise!

It's almost monochromatic and yet it's not.

Very warm and rich for sure.

And to top it all off (no pun intended), the little green shoot poking out from the onion just adds another hint of color.

Excellent job on this one!
