I fiddled for quite awhile with still life arrangements, not happy with anything. When I put the mango on this blue cloth I immediately loved the saturated color and could visualize the strength of a simple design.

You've just given me some ideas for a painting i'm doing with raspberries on a black cloth. It's going terribly at the moment. Thanks for your response to my comment under rocks. If it weren't for artists like yourself and the sharing of your work I wouldn't be as motivated to continue.

I know you are going to kill me, Don, but here's another amazing example of blues and browns!

The rich dark blue of the cloth compliments the reddish-purple-brown of the mango perfectly.
