There's something so satisfying about painting reflective objects. You have to "pay your dues" by doing all the groundwork, laying in all the undertones, colors and values; like building a foundation for a house. Then at the very last you bang in the crisp highlights and, with a little luck, it sings.

Makes me see I need to work harder at the ground work in my reflections Don. This one is great and I love the other one with the deep bowl of cherries. The cherries underneath, not visible, are none the less really evident.
