OK, I know I'm jumping the gun on springtime with these last two paintings, especially since it snowed here yesterday. I love winter, but I'm ready for spring...how about you?

HA! I guess you do whatcha gotta do. But you're certainly not helping me to be patient! Your paintings of lovely glades and meadows at least make the wait very pleasant. Thanks for posting wishes!

Sorry, Sam. But since we artists are always accused of having our heads in the clouds anyway, why not dream about this? Thanks for your well wishes.

Wonderful painting, Don! I like winter for about 2 1/2 months, then I'm ready to move on with spring. So, I'm enjoying other's renditions of spring and painting it myself.

It snowed here yesterday as well (didn't stick, though), but later, I got to walk past some blooming cherry trees. So, spring is firmly on its way!

Thank you, Sonya! Blooming cherry trees sounds pretty good right now.

How do you make a lot of green as beautiful in your paintings as it is in nature? Seriously!

Don Gray said...

It is an awful lot of green, isn't it, Erika? Thank goodness for the red building, I guess! Thanks for your kind comments.

Silly - nothing awful about a lot of green when Don Gray paints it! In this case, one would said, "Look at all that beautiful lush green!"

You're a generous soul, Erika. :^)
