I like this one very much - especially the composition. And Mt. Emily - I've never heard of her but love the name.
i'm very impressed with your work Don,such output variety and quality
glad i found your blog i'll be back!
Thanks, Suzanne. The farming valley where we live is ringed with mountains that are remnants of an ancient volcanic crater. Hard to believe the lovely Mt. Emily was born of such violence.
Rob, welcome to the blog! I admire your work.
Dynamite Don. This piece particularly is a stand out amongst a strong collection of recent posts. Hope you're enjoying fall!
Love it. You are successful in capturing this moment and this place in Time. I am sure you must be happy with yourself after this painting.
Gorgeous watercolor, and I like those Indian Summer acrylics too - esp the first and #3.
Such a beautiful scene, love the trees.
Hi Cooper--thanks a lot. We've had a great fall--can't complain. I hear it got pretty nice in Maine too, after the rain stopped.
Thanks for the nice comment, Indiaartist.
Hi Nick, good to hear from you--thanks!
Thanks a lot, Barbara!
Beautiful, Don.
Thanks a lot, Bill.
Well, I suppose you can handle one more...
Beautiful piece Don.
Love the trees and the colors of the whole thing. You really captured the light well.
Hi Frank,
Sure, I can always handle one more--especially if it comes from a fine artist like yourself! Thanks.
