beautiful colour combination.... and the black seed in the foreground is such a telling touch,... just a few dribbles of juice in the same direction would have lead the viewer's eye to the culprit:)

Getting the color of the watermelon fruity part just right made me wonder what colors you used to do it! It's not pinky like alizarin, not orangy like Cad red light, hmmmm...some of Don's magic! Well done!

I had a lot of trouble with that color, Lynne. I must admit defeat, actually. What I ended up with is a melon-like color--not quite what I was seeing. I adjusted the other colors around it to make it seem right. Best I recall, colors were cad red med., cad orange, quinacridone magenta, cad yellow, and white. I would have thrown in the kitchen sink if I had it.
